A GROUP OF FLASKS

  1. Amber Strap-sided Flask with Open SAFE EMBOSSED --- Here's a super find! How many of these have you seen offered, if any? A light amber strap-sided quart flask with an open safe (with bottles inside) embossed, inside a circle slug area (2 1/8" by 2 1/4"). The safe's door is hinged and open to the right with five bottles inside... two larger bottles on the top shelf, with three smaller bottles below. The safe is on wheels. The base is very lightly embossed with a diamond symbol. It's a damage free flask, with only a couple of tiny light hidden scratches, a whisp of shelf dirt in the bottom and light cloudiness... Nothing major at all. This is mentioned for accuracy reasons only. It's more than ready for display on your shelf. I'd also like to mention, there is one large bubble on the right shoulder, that has a small inclusion on its edge. It's perfectly crude and healthy, and without radiations. Please compare this flask to the other aquamarine safe embossed flask we sold, on our 'Sold Items' page (link is below). They are both completely different, with the amber variation as the rarest of the two. This amber flask has an applied lip and is 9 5/8" tall by 4 3/8" at the widest point.....$210.00 +S&H
  2. C. B. BOTSFORD / NEW MILFORD, CT. --- Here we offer an aquamarine, pint strap sided flask embossed the same as the listing title, in a crude circle slug. Also embossed is: FULL PINT in the same area. It's a very clean and damage free flask. This listing is for the flask pictured on the left only. It is 7 1/4" tall.....$160.00 +S&H.
  3. DONOGHUE / IMPORTING CO. / ROCHESTER, N.Y. --- This listing is for a clear half pint strap sided flask. Embossed in an arched ribbon is WARRANTED over FULL 1/2 PINT over the same as the listing title in a round slug area. The base is smooth and unembossed. 4. F. W. ECKEL / 1901 MAIN ST. / NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. --- This listing is for a clear pint strap-sided flask embossed the same as the listing title, in a circle slug. Above this is embossed: REGISTERED / FULL PINT. The base is unembossed. It is a dug New York flask with some scratches and interior (mostly) stain. This can easily be removed with a light professional cleaning, but it displays well in its current condition. A great flask from our nation's border, standing 8 1/8" tall.....$65.00 +S&H.
  5. F. W. ECKEL / 1901 / MAIN ST. / NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. - CLICK HERE for a close-up of the double stamped embossing --- This listing is for a clear quart strap-sided flask embossed the same as the listing title, in a circle slug. It appears as though the slugplate had moved when this was blown, leaving a shadow or ghosted embossing behind the other. Above this is embossed: REGISTERED in an arc over FULL QUART. The base is embossed (faint but looks like): B B G CO (Berney - Bond Glass Company). It's a nice large flask in great condition. Mentioned for accuracy, it has a thin teadrop shaped open bubble inside the neck (not damage), a tiny pinhead size fleabite on the back side at the bottom and light interior (mostly) stain. This upstate N.Y. flask stands 9 3/4" tall.....$125.00 +S&H.
  6. JOHN F. FINN / 42 AMESBURY ST. / LAWRENCE, MASS. --- This listing is for a SCA, pint flask embossed the same as the listing title, in a circle slug. Above this, embossed in a smaller circle slug area is: GUARANTEED / FULL / PINT. It has a tiny amount of stain/dirt (nothing major and hard to detect) and should clean up easily. This listing is for the flask pictured on the left only. A beautiful flask with bubbles and crude features (nice dimple under the slug area), standing 8 7/8" tall.....$90.00 +S&H.
  7. FULL MEASURE / JOHNSON & BRO / ESTd 1861 / GROCERS / NEW HAVEN, CT. --- This listing is for an aquamarine quart strap sided flask embossed the same as the listing title, in a circle slug. A gigantic and beautiful flask that's very clean and damage free (only a few tiny scratches on the back and hardly worth mentioning). The embossing has been highlighted with something black by another collector and can be removed if needed. This listing is for the flask pictured on the left only. It stands an impressive 10" tall.....$170.00 +S&H.
  8. PHIL G. KELLY / STRAIGHT WHISKIES / RICHMOND, VA. --- A clear strap-sided flask with a round slug area embossed the same as the listing title, under WARRANTED over FLASK. Looking it over carefully, it is in excellent condition, which is unusual for most of these types of flasks. There is a very small amount of interior (easily cleaned with just soap and water) contents that remains. It's very crudely made with folds, bubbles and waves in the glass here and there. A VERY hard-to-find Virginia flask in an unlisted/pictured size (local VA bottle book), standing 8" tall.....$515.00 +S&H.
  9. A. LEVERONE / 15 & 19 GOLDEN ST. / NEW LONDON, CONN. --- Embossed as in title in a circle slug area under REGISTERED in an arc over FULL 1/2 PINT is embossed. The base is not embossed. The back heel is embossed with tiny faint letters: C.G.W. or G.G.W. It's in super condition, with only a tiny amount of typical interior contents stain, light dirt and a small scratch or two. Inside the neck is a really neat attached extra string of glass. A great half pint Connecticut strap-sided flask, standing 6 5/8" tall.....$90.00 +S&H.
  10. M. McPHELEMY / DANBURY / CONN. --- aqua --- Embossed in a circle slug: M. McPHELEMY / DANBURY in an arc over CONN., under FULL MEASURE in an arc over 1/2 PINT. The base is smooth and unmarked. It's a dug flask, in great condition, but has typical stain and a few light scratches. It just needs a light cleaning. This one is a nice light aquamarine strap-sided CT flask, standing 6 5/8" tall.....$85.00 +S&H.
  11. M. McPHELEMY / DANBURY / CONN. --- clear --- Embossed in a circle slug: M. McPHELEMY in an arc over DANBURY over CONN. in a reverse arc. The base is embossed with 336 over the letter F in the center. It's a dug flask with typical cleanable stain and interior light soil. It just needs a light cleaning, nothing major. There are two open tear shaped bubbles ...not damage. One is on the front, going through the M in McPHELEMY and the other smaller one is hidden on the back top. A nice clear with gray tint, half pint strap-sided Connecticut flask, standing 6 1/4" tall.....$60.00 +S&H.
  12. A MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR --- A clear heavily embossed Christmas flask embossed the same as the listing title. It is in excellent condition and a very unusual flask. 13. JOS. MOONEY / LIQUOR (R is ghosted) DEALER / 1021 MAIN / KANSAS CITY, MO. --- A clear shoofly (or shoo-fly) flask from the midwest. A hard to find spirits container from Missouri. Embossed in a circle slug the same as the listing title. It's in great condition. There's a smooth flaw (I would call it) at the top of the lip that is about 1/8". It looks like a flake, but again it's smooth and seems like an 'in making' flaw. The front side of the lip has a small scratch (appox. 1/4"). The front heel has a 3/8" flake with a pinpoint ding under that on the bottom. It also has some very light interior stain. Wow, this sounds bad, but I assure you that I'm being picky and you really have to search to find these issues. It's a blown 1/2 pint flask with folds, bubbles and other crudeness, standing 6 1/4" tall and 3 1/4" at widest point.....$150.00 +S&H.
  14. Shield embossed --- A light aquamarine, quart strap-sided flask embossed with a shield or framed double circle area. Inside one circle is: ESTABLISHED over 1847. Inside of this is an interlaced monogram with the letters J C & Co. or C J & Co. Above all this is embossed QUART. The base has two embossed dots or nipples. It has a small amount of interior contents stain in one area and the very bottom that should clean up a lot. It has a small scratch beside the word QUART and all is mentioned for accuracy. It's a great old flask and is 9 1/2" tall.....$14.00 +S&H.
  15. MAX SWIT / 219 MAIN ST. / STAMFORD, CONN. --- A clear or colorless (grey tint), half pint strap-sided flask embossed the same as the listing title, in a large circle slug. The base has: 212 and the front heel: 8 FL. OZ. embossed. It's a dug bottle with typical interior contents stain and scratches on the back mainly, with two small ones in the slug area. There is a very tiny rough spot on the lip the size of a pin point. All is, of course, mentioned for accuracy. It's in great condition. A blown flask with a tooled lip. It is 6 3/4" tall.....$70.00 +S&H.
