1. CAVALIER / RICHMOND, VA. --- This listing is for a bright green (a tad darker than the pic) crowntop beer bottle. Both shoulders are embossed with Cavalier with a larger C. One heel has: RICHMOND, VA. and the other has: CAVALIER DISTRIBUTING CORP. The base has a large C. A dug damage free bottle, with only a few light scratches, light base wear and a touch of interior contents stain. A beautiful ABM green bottle, standing 9 1/2" tall.....$10.00 +S&H.
2. Green blob top beer - soda - mineral water --- This listing is for an absolutely beautiful medium green unembossed blob beer, soda or mineral water bottle. The base is slick and plain. Please see this photo of the base - bottle is on the left Click Here. This thing has bubbles all over, making it sparkle even more. It is damage free, with only remarkably very light wear, a tiny open surface bubble (not damage) and a couple of super tiny hidden fleabites. That's all. Really, this is in incredible condition for the use it probably saw. It stands 7 1/2" tall and is truly a stunning utility blob top bottle.....$28.00 +S&H.
3. Dr. J. HOSTETTER'S / STOMACH BITTERS --- This is a true classic. A Hostetter's in a root beer type amber, with lighter coloration at the top (shoulder area) and fading to darker amber near the heel. One side is embossed the same as the listing title. Another is embossed at heel with: 17N 27. There are no base markings. It still retains partial foil around the top. This one is undamaged, but it does have some staining, typical of most dug bottles. A smaller machine made variation, standing 8 7/8" tall by 2 5/8" wide......$19.00 +S&H.
4. ROBERT PORTNER / BREWING CO. / TIVOLI (TRADE MARK) / ALEXANDRIA Va --- A bluish aquamarine blob with full and workable closure embossed the same as the listing title in a slug area ...and around a double diamond in the center. The base has: KARL HUTTER then what looks like the number 20 over NEW YORK. The back has in three lines and big letters: THIS BOTTLE NOT TO BE SOLD. It's in super condition, and has never been in the ground... just a light scratch or two, this bottle probably saw very little use. It also has beautiful bubbles and crude stretches throughout. Nice and clean, it stands 9 1/4" tall without the closure......$58.00 +S&H.
5. ROBERT PORTNER / BREW. COMP. / (TRADE MARK and HYGEIA in a diamond) / ALEXANDRIA Va --- An aquamarine earlier blob embossed the same as the listing title in a slug area. The base has a letter C embossed. The back has in three lines and big letters: THIS BOTTLE NOT TO BE SOLD. It's in great condition for a dug bottle. Only a mention of light typical haze, some flakes of remaining rust spots from the closure and a very small fleabite/chip on the underneath of the front heel ...mentioned for accuracy and none are real issues. A harder to find Portner variant and straight from our collection of Virginia blobs, it stands 9 1/4" tall......$67.00 +S&H.
6. PHILIP ZAUN - PHILADELPHIA PA. --- This is a beautiful aqua blob full of character and crudeness. Embossed on the front is: PHILIP ZAUN in arc then PHILADELPHIA over PA. The back is embossed: THIS over BOTTLE over NOT TO BE over SOLD. It's 7 1/4" tall, quite heavy and weiss bier (beer) shaped, complete with olive streaks in the glass. After very close inspection, I found two very tiny, shallow, fish eye type marks, but you can look and look and miss these. A professionally cleaned bottle that still retains only light inside haze.
